A treasure trove of Picassos, Van Goghs, and Monets, the Museum of Modern Art, or MoMA, is a stunning maze of glass and steel.  Go for the work by innovative and challenging modern artists if you've had enough of the vanguards. Much more manageable than the Met, you can see most of the collection in one morning or afternoon.
