The world's largest Legoland Park, the Florida location is set on 150 acres (c. 60 ha) on the shores of Lake Eloise. About 45 minutes west of Orlando, the theme and water park has more than 50 rides, resort accommodations, shopping and restaurants. What sets it apart from other Legolands is that it is built around the old Cypress Gardens tourist attraction famous for its water-skiing shows for much of the last century. It has been preserved as a botanical garden. Legoland is geared to families with kids 2 to 12.
