Indian Canyons is a collection of lush ravines only five miles from downtown Palm Springs where you can get close to desert nature by foot or on horseback. On Agua Caliente tribal land, the main canyons are Andres, Murray and Palm Canyons. You only have to go about a mile along the 15-mile (28 km) Palm Canyon to see the world's largest oasis of California fan palms.
