The Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve has several miles of hiking trails. Keep in mind that these preserves are undeveloped desert with rattles snakes and other wild animals that inhabit these areas. Look for difficulty levels when choosing hikes and be sure to leave early in the morning to beat some of the desert heat.
