A trip to Long Point is always worth your time when visiting Provincetown, but the walk there is a strenuous three-mile hike over uneven terrain. Those in the know catch the Long Point Shuttle instead, a pontoon boat leaving every hour from MacMillan Pier Slip #8. In the summer season, the shuttle runs from 10 am to 5 pm, bringing day-trippers from the center of town directly to the beach at the foot of Long Point Lighthouse and back again. Round trip is $15, one way is $10. Check ahead for schedule during off-season.
