More famous for its people-watching than for its food--though that's good too--Cafe Flore is a fixture of the Castro. Their sunny patio is brunch central, where you can nosh on greasy-spoon specials like poached eggs with skillet potatoes while ogling the weekend crowds. Don't expect much from the service, as it can get a bit chaotic, but have a few of their excellent drink specials and you won't mind. Open Mon-Fri 10 a.m. - 12 a.m., Sat-Sun 8 a.m. - 12 a.m.
