Mission Dolores Park is the most popular park in the city after Golden Gate, and its 16-acre span is filled with opportunities for fun in the sun. There are tennis and basketball courts, a soccer field, a playground, and a dog park, but plenty of people come here just to laze in the grass. The southwestern corner of the park is particularly lovely, and on the weekend there are plenty of Castro boys out sunning their muscles.
