The majesty of coastal redwoods is impossible to overstate, and a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge to the Muir Woods National Park should be at the top of your list. These redwoods are found only on the coast of California and Oregon, and though only 4% of the original growth remains, they are still enough to take your breath away.
