The largest beach in San Francisco, Ocean Beach is three miles of white sand with little infrastructure and large, crashing waves. It's a popular spot for seasoned surfers, but everyone else should avoid swimming. Summertime nights brings strings of bonfires and impromptu parties, while in the daytime it's a great place to jog or fly kites.
