Dedicated in 2002, Pink Triangle Park is the first US monument to the gay victims of the Holocaust. In the center of the park is a pink triangle--the symbol gay inmates were forced to wear--filled with shards of rose quartz, while around the edges are fifteen granite pylons topped with pink triangles, representative of the 15,000 gay men killed by the Nazi regime.
