Rock-climbing fanatics will be happy to know that in the heart of the Presidio is Planet Granite Climbing Gym. The club has a good selection of routes on their climbing walls, and often do themed events like "Singles and Swingers," where people can meet new climbing buddies and try out new courses. The building takes full advantage of the tremendous location with floor to ceiling windows, so you can ogle the bay while you tackle some boulders.
