1
Check in to the Grand Hyatt Seattle and sink into one of your two king sized bed for a very quick catnap while your partner takes the kids down to the hotel restaurant for a snack.
2
Refreshed and ready to roll, the four of you head down to the Pacific Science Center for a few hours of learning about sea creatures, watching laser shows, and even planning your own trip to the moon.
3
Feeling Hungry? Follow the path through the Seattle Center's grounds over to the Experience Music Project. On the first floor you'll find a family friendly, American-style, music themed café. Pop on some headphones and listen to some of the newest releases in individual booths as you wait for your name to be called.
4
If you are visiting on an uncharacteristically hot day, it's time to hit the beach. Walk to the bus stop outside the restaurant and bus over to Madrona Beach. While less overtly queer than Madison Beach, you also won't need to worry about your kids being showered in expletives. Or beer, for that matter. Spread out a blanket, get to know some other LGBT families, and enjoy the afternoon sun as you swim in Lake Washington.
5
After a full day, head back to the hotel and take advantage of the hotel childcare while you get ready for a night out on the town.
6
Head up to Seattle's gay district, Capitol Hill, and check out Century Ballroom for spontaneous partner dancing lessons, or The Wild Rose or Madison Pub for a more low-key end to your day.
7
Head out of the bar, flag down or call a taxi or rideshare, and make your way back down to the hotel.
