Carkeek beach is a small beach over the train tracks from Carkeek Park. A great place to sit and watch the sun set over the Olympic Mountains. Bring a bottle of wine and cozy up with a friend or loved one while listening to the sounds of seals, seagulls, and the trains as they pass by.  Toss a frisbee or skip rocks; Carkeek beach is not for swimming but on a hot day, you should definitely put your feet in! But be careful during the summer days, as there are tons of youth camps that come to visit. If you are looking for a more "adult" experience, this may not be your jam until evening.
