On the southern end of Coogee Beach, Coogee Women's Baths - dating from 1876 - is the city's last women-only ocean pool. Also known as McIver's Baths, the 20-meter seawater pool is reserved for women and children. It is private enough for Muslim women to wear swimming suits or for nude bathing and sunbathing. Entry costs pennies. The beach is accessible by public transportation.
