Kamay Botany Bay National Park is 1,130 acres (456 ha) of coastal bush around Botany Bay where the first European settlers landed. The park has historical sites, walking tracks, beaches and a good view during whale season. La Perouse is on the northern headland, Kumeil on the southern. It is about 10 miles (16 km) southeast of the central business district.
