Depending on where you are in the world, you might describe yourself as a gastronome, foodie, bourgondiër. comilon, shokutsu, feinschmecker or buongustaio, but whatever you call yourself and wherever you go, food and drink is on the travel menu. A best place for local eats, the long-standing hole-in-the-wall bar or not-to-be-missed food stand, you want to know about it, so you can add it to the notches on your belt.

A beloved gay bar in the Colonial Zone that hosts regular drag shows. Find them on Facebook.

Nice place, delicious drinks, and food, lovely atmosphere, great music. You can dance all night long or just lay on a bed or in a hammock.

One of the best lesbian bars I've experienced in the US. It's a must see when in Hillcrest, San Diego.

My first favorite lesbian bar! Nights are hit or miss but wide selection on drinks and spacious dance floor. Certain nights will draw in big crowds, which could be a good or bad thing. Has a patio for the smokers. Friendly staff.
