Bonfil Beach, only five minutes from Acapulco International Airport, may be the best in the area for surfing. Surf-forecast.com lists it as "very consistent." Far less crowded than most local beaches, it also has fewer vendors to disturb your peace. Twenty minutes farther down the road are Barra Vieja and Laguna de Tres Palos.
