Why you should go to Vancouver !

A vibrant peninsula city with easy access to both mountains and beaches, Vancouver is built for those who love wilderness and urban adventure in equal measures. The number of outdoor activities available - combined with top-of-the-line restaurants, theater and shopping - means visitors will have little trouble finding something to inspire them.

The LGBTQ spirit is also alive and well here, with the neighborhoods of Davie Village and Commercial Drive having large concentrations of gay citizens and a strong network of community support in place. Pride is a major event in Vancouver, but there are many other annual events worth visiting, including the world-class Queer Film Festival. In short, if you like fresh air, green politics, farm-to-table food and friendly locals, you'll feel right at home in Van City.
