Beauty Bar is a spin-off of the popular New York dive of the same name, and true to its original form, it attracts a crowd of twenty-something hipsters here to listen to local punk and rock bands play on the small stage while they nurse PBR. The decor is meant to echo a hair salon, with pink walls, hair-dryer chairs, and pleather banquettes, but the overall feel is more grunge than glamour. There's a large back patio with its own bar and stage, so when the weather is right. this place can get pumping.
