The Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert (PSLOD) has been drawing leather fans from around the world to events since the 1990s. Leather Pride plays on a military theme with dinners, dance parties, cigar parties and a Commando pool party at various venues and the annual Mr. Palm Springs Leather Contest. A mostly guys event, The Women of Leather holds a Sunday brunch.
