Open since 1998, Hunters is one of the longest-running establishments in town with an all-day (10 am -7 pm) "Size Matters" happy hour, a DJ spinning dance tunes, pool tournaments, underwear contests, karaoke and cabaret. It whelped an offspring in Fort Lauderdale a couple of years ago.

Queen of Hearts, which opened in 1969 as The Desert Knight, was the first lesbian-friendly hotel in town. Gloria Swanson is said to have stayed there. Sadly it has permanently closed.
