Rainbow Families Sixth Family Camp Weekend will be held November 10-12, 2017 at Camp Tockwogh in Worton, MD (about a 2 hour drive from the DMV). Camp Tockwogh is a 309-acre family-friendly campground located on the Chesapeake Bay. Since the first camp weekend in 2011, nearly 100 parents and their children have annually attended Family Camp Weekend!

Family Camp Weekend provides LGBTQ families with the very unique opportunity to forge personal connections and build community with one another. Together, parents and children spend the entire weekend enjoying the outdoors!

Registration fees depend on your housing selecton $150-$160 per person (children and adults 4 years of age and up). Registration includes accommodations for two nights, all activities, and five meals.

Only include children 4 years of age and older as guest registrants to be factored into your payment. Children aged 3 and under are free.

Housing Details:

Stewart Lodge (4 Years & Older) - $150 (USD) - The Stewart Lodge sleeps a total of 25 people. There are three sections for 8-9 people. Every section is equipped with an indoor bathroom and shower facility. Minimum of 4 per bedroom. Smaller families will be required to share each section accommodation. If you have a family in mind, please coordinate with them and request to be matched in housing with them.

Cottages (4 Years & Older) - $155 (USD) - Each cottage can sleep a total of 9. There are 3 separate bedrooms with private baths. Each bedroom has three beds. Family size determines number of bedrooms per family. If you have a family in mind, please coordinate with them and request to be matched in housing with them.

Conference Center/Tickwogh Lodge (4 Years & Older) - $160 (USD) - These camp accommodations include carpeted bedrooms that sleep 5-6 people each. Every bedroom is equipped with a private bathroom and shower facility. Only 7 units are available on a first come, first serve basis. Must have a minimum of 4 people per bedroom (adults and/or children).

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE RAINBOW FAMILIES BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

In keeping with our organization's values of inclusivity and respect for all members of Rainbow Families, we have decided to postpone the family event at Camp Tockwogh due to inadvertently scheduling the Camp Tockwogh weekend on the holiest of Jewish holidays, Yom Kippur. We deeply regret this error and any inconvenience to those members who have registered.

We have been able to secure an alternative date and invite you to join us November 10-12.

Refunds will be made and a new registration will open soon.
