Paddle Round the Pier

A summer beach and waterspouts festival, Paddle Round the Pier is not only fun but free and packed full of water and land events. One highlight is the hilarious Paddle Something Unusual, in which participants raise money for charity by paddling anything from lawn furniture to beds, as long as it is ridiculous. Other activities: a swim trek, kayaking, kite surfing, a dog show, concerts, a classic VW show and the Streetfunk Dance Competition.
