Hong Kong's calendar overflows with events that draw people from all over China, Asia, the world. Lunar celebrations, international sporting competitions, colorful local festivals, global art confabs, fashion weeks, film and music festivals, trade shows, shopping promotions, horse racing, book fairs, professional conferences - you'll find them all in Hong Kong. LGBTQ events take place mostly in the fall with the two-month Pink Season - Asia's largest LGBTQ cultural festival - in October and November and the annual Pride Parade in early November. The Pink Alliance, an umbrella group, sponsors over a month of LGBTQ activities in the spring, culminating with an IDAHO march in May.
