The 7th century Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the Da Ci'en Si Temple complex in a southern suburb became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014 as part of Silk Road. Rebuilt many times, it is surrounded by impressive squares and gardens, the North Square having the largest musical fountain in Asia.
