Just off Plaça Catalunya at the start of Las Ramblas, City Hall is a three-level disco club in the 19th century Teatro Barcelona. The club neatly blends the velvet curtain glamor of the old theater with 21st century technology. It draws a stylish set of younger locals with a booming sound system and the lighting and the intimate decor of a house party. Different nights have different themes. Sundays is a gay party called The Black Night.
