On the western side of the island, Playa Vallehermoso is about three kilometers away from the village of the same name. The beach is gravely, the ocean rough and the cliffs steep, discouraging all but the most experienced swimmers. But nearby is a seawater swimming pool with changing rooms, showers, snack bar and a view.
