Another world's-largest in Atlanta, and this time it's a 10K. First run in 1970 by around a hundred participants, it has grown into a 50,000-strong phenomenon that draws runners from all around the world. Countless Atlantans come out to cheer for the runners and upon reaching the finish line, every runner receives a much-coveted Road Race t-shirt.
