Mardi Gras Casino has 70,000 square feet (6,500 sq m) of Vegas-style slots, poker tables, simulcast wagering and live greyhound racing as well as food, drink and nationally known entertainers. It's also a bit of Florida history, opening as the Hollywood Kennel Club in 1934 only three years after pari-mutual betting became legal in the state and later operating as the Hollywood Greyhound Track.
