A relatively undeveloped beach with soft white sand and no lifeguards, Fowler Beach in Southampton is the smaller of the Hamptons' two gay beaches.  An excellent place for boating and watersports, it's also one of the only beaches in the Hamptons that doesn't require a visitor's permit.
