A bit out-of-the - way-tucked in an alley behind the Donovan House Hotel in Downtown DC - the Green Lantern is a cult-favorite of DC's over-thirty gay community. Shirtless Thursdays are very popular, where guys drink for free between 10 and 11 pm, but the scene is good here on most nights, due to their friendly staff, no-judgement atmosphere, and good-looking crowd. They also host many themed nights, with leather, bear, and otter parties held regularly.
