Portland Dyke March is organized through Pride Northwest to celebrate the dyke community and its allies. Traditionally an on-foot march rather than float-heavy parade, it is a place where a cross-section of the dyke community comes together to celebrate.
The mission of Pride Northwest, Inc. is to encourage and celebrate the positive diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans communities, and to assist in the education of all people through the development of activities that showcase the history, accomplishments, and talents of these communities. It organizes of the Portland Waterfront LGBTQ Pride Festival & Parade.
