Portland Pride spans a weekend in June with a main parade and festival along the Portland waterfront, along with satellite events at a variety of clubs and venues throughout town. Other main events include the Trans March, Dyke March and the Gaylabration dance party.

The mission of Pride Northwest, Inc. is to encourage and celebrate the positive diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans communities, and to assist in the education of all people through the development of activities that showcase the history, accomplishments, and talents of these communities. It organizes of the Portland Waterfront LGBTQ Pride Festival & Parade.
