The Amsterdam Action Bar in the heart of the gay village offers two floors of anything-goes action. The mellow downstairs has an outside deck off the bar area, a pool table and background music to encourage intimate conversation. The video lounge, glory-hole maze, sling area and private cabins are upstairs. Opened in 2008, it also has daily outings to tourist sites and Boyztown shops - open from 4 pm to 10 pm - with everything a boy needs for a night out. The Backroom Bar with its topless barmen and shower shows moved next door in 2012 and is linked through the cruise area.
