The Chinese New Year is Hong Kong's biggest and most colorful festival with the city decked out in red lanterns. The celebration turns the city into a gigantic street party that includes a night parade through Tsim Sha Tsui, international and local performers, horse races, special "auspicious" foods like black moss and steamed sticky cake and of course spectacular fireworks over the harbor.
