Llevant, which opened in 2006, is the newest, farthest north and least crowded of the Barcelona beaches. Other than beach volleyball and a bike trail, there's not much going on, but you can rent a lounge and umbrella and find a kiosk for drinks. It's near Diagonal Mar, the largest commercial center in the city.
