A pioneering gay bar from the 1980s, El Horno (the oven) is Bear Central - headquarters of the Bears Sitges Club and a principal venue in the Bears Weeks each spring. It gets going at 5 pm - mid-afternoon by the Sitges clock - as locals drop by for happy hour. It goes on until the wee hours with an eclectic mix of music, a wide selection of alcohol and a cruising area in the back. Across the street from the XXL cruise bar, it is under the same management. Off-season hours are abbreviated.
