Don Fidel is an old school salsa bar, a tourist-draw and an institution tucked between the Clock Tower and the Plaza de la Aduana along an old fortress wall. Inside, walls are lined with hundreds of photos of owner Fidel Leottau with salsa greats, and the yellow director chairs on the large plaza-front terrace fill with locals and tourists. Although people dance, it's more of a place to sit and listen to salsa, drink cheap cold beer and people watch. On Saturdays, videos of live concerts are projected.
