Begun in 1995, the Festival Gourmet International kicks off the winter season each November by matching up top chefs from around the globe with local restaurants in a program that includes theme nights, a progressive avant-garde dinner, a jazz-and-wine evening, workshops and a "Grand Gourmet Village," a party night with an orchestra and fireworks.
