The Vallarta Wine Fest is part trade show and part wine tasting with the wines of a different country showcased each year. In 2015 Italian wines were featured at the nine restaurants and four hotels participating. Events - some public, some requiring invitations - include a national sommelier contest, wine expo and a conference on Mexican cuisine and wine.
