Like Kit Porter in "The L Word," Gigi Brown combines her love of music and food in Gigi's Music Cafe in a strip mall with an AMC multiplex theater. Inside the ambiance is New York jazz club with a menu featuring soul food favorites handed down in Gigi's family. Nightly entertainment - local musicians, singers, bands, poets, open mike nights - and weekly karaoke get high marks. Gigi got some management tips from Robert Irvine when she appeared on The Food Network's "Restaurant: Impossible" in 2015. Daily happy hour 5 pm - 7 pm.
