Caroline's is known for its outdoor dining and its Key West comfort food: po' boys, conch fritters, blackened fish sandwiches. Opened in 1999 and named for Jimmy Buffett 's "Woman Going Crazy on Caroline Street," it is in a building dating from around 1838 when it was built for the first Federal judge of the Southern District of the Florida Territory. Caroline's relatives in the neighborhood are the Flying Monkey's Saloon, Red Fish Blue Fish, Jack Flats and Mangos.
