Sunny Isles Beach with a row of condominium resorts along its two miles of pristine sand likes to be known as Florida's Riviera, but getting to the beach may be a challenge. Trick is to find a spot in the municipal parking lot behind the Walgreen's Drugstore at 174th Street or at Heritage Park at 193rd Street. Public beach accesses are every few blocks.  Another attraction for tourists and fishermen is the Newport Fishing Pier, the only public fishing pier in Miami-Dade County. Pier Park is at 16501 Collins Avenue with fee parking available.
