On the National Register of Historic Places, Cabot's Pueblo Museum is housed in a rambling Hopi-style pueblo built by hand by an early 20th century homesteader with a passion for Native American artifacts. Long a local landmark, it was opened to the public in 1945 and is now run by the City of Desert Hot Springs. In addition to daily tours, it also has special exhibits featuring native artisans and a "trading post" where you can shop for Native American crafts and desert-related books.
