Dating back to 1999, Cabaret Fest was the brain child of John O'Neill, one of New England's most beloved cabaret performers. Taking place over three or four days in early June, the festival attracts artists from up and down the eastern seaboard, and culminates in a glittering variety show hosted by New York's own Dana Lorge. This year will bring in around 25 performers to venues across town, and organizers are aiming to include as many low-price and free shows as possible. Ticket prices vary.
