The San Diego Museum of Man is an anthropological museum founded in 1915, which puts all kinds of human culture on display, including mummies, the truth about race, the history of beer and a fun family exhibition on monsters. Its intriguing California Building, which has become a symbol of the city, was designed by Bertram Goodhue, mixing a little bit of everything to create a Spanish-Colonial façade as the entrance to the 1915 Panama-California Exposition.
