Just an hour north of downtown San Francisco, Bolinas Beach is a secluded little beach in an artsy town, with murals, surfers, and plenty of marine life. There are lots of secluded corners for privacy, and the beach is very dog friendly, so bring the pooch. Keep an eye out for harbor seals, loons, and ospreys.
