An after-hours club a 15-minute cab ride from Dupont Circle, Delta Elite has been in DC for almost 37 years. It's still as hot as it was in the 70s, with hip-hop and house ruling the dance floor. The crowd is a mix of races and ages, though it skews twenties and early thirties. Friday nights are for girls only-it's one of the most energetic lesbian dance parties in town going from midnight to 4 am-while Saturday night is for the boys. On either night the party doesn't really get going until around 1 am.
