Home to oxen and horses at the turn of the 20th century, The Stable today is a charming heritage-listed hideaway at the base of the Olifants River Mountains about 70 miles (112 km) east of the Cape Town airport. The two-bedroom guest cottage with shared bath sleeps two couples and has a open-plan kitchen and lounge with private garden. Hosts Dean and Philip steer guests to friendly local artists, the local craft brewery, a charming museum, wine tastings, hiking and paragliding and hang-gliding. Grounds are patrolled by three diligent Dachshunds.

I live next door with my husband and 3 dachshunds, and look after all the guests, so I may be a little biased. :-) However... we would love anyone to come visit and welcome any questions or queries you may have.
See you soon. :-)
