The annual Pink Dot rally, outdoor concert and carnival in Tamar Park is Hong Kong's largest LGBTQ equality and diversity event. The uniquely Asian Pride celebration, which began in Singapore in 2009, encourages everyone to wear pink to create "a sea of pink." In 2015, the event in Hong Kong attracted 15,000 people and included celebrities, diplomatic dignitaries and corporate sponsors.
